Test Description
Endurance tests are an important part of vehicle development. Subsystems or the entire vehicle are loaded under realistic conditions in order to be able to make statements about durability and reliability. The entire vehicle life cycle must be run through.
Endurance tests are very time- and personnel-intensive, as test drivers have to complete thousands of kilometres with the test vehicle, to achieve the required load profiles.
Test Excecution
A large part of the distance kilometres required for endurance tests can be completed automatically and thus unmanned by using VEHICO technologies. The vehicle is equipped with the required VEHICO driving robot systems and the VEHICO CO.Drive system ensures that the vehicle completes, for example, a handling course in 24h continuous operation.
With VEHICO technology, endurance tests can be more cost- and time-saving and thus much more efficient.

The failsafe emergency brake actuator enables failsafe actuation of the vehicle's own brake pedal from outside via radio.
Inter Robot Communication
With Inter Robot Communication IRC, data can be transferred between VEHICO driving robots in different vehicles.
Control Center
Über unser Control Center können alle Fahrversuche von einer zentralen Stelle aus gesteuertund überwacht werden. Bei eventuellen Ausfällen von Versuchskomponenten kann von hier aus eingeriffen werden.
