VEHICO has a new website. We hope our new website appeals to interested persons and our customers as the old home page did.
As you are used to this from VEHICO we keep up with the times also in terms of the internet. Many new features should facilitate the search after the required information. Through a well-arranged presentation the content is presented in a clearly structured way. If you once should not find something immediately, a search function for our website is available now.
Also new is the section FAQ. There we collect questions we are always asked. Please take a look!

Steering robot newly available with online interface

The VEHICO steering robot CS1200 now has an extended CAN port over which online reference values can be provided. This expands the application areas on tasks where for example the steering robot is used in the closed loop purly as actuating drive.

Other testing constellations are also possible where the steering robot receives its reverence values from a vehicle dynamic controller.

Pedal actuators extended by teach-in functionality!

The VEHICO pedal actuators are available now with teach-in functionality. The pedal drive is put in a special mode recording the pedal movements of a driver. With built-in actuators the driver can perform its required driving maneuvres while in the background all pedal movements of the pedal are logged.

By using the obtained data as reference values for the pedal actuator the exact same pedal trajectory can be realized as required.

Failsafe Emergency Brake System newly availabe

VEHICO has developed a failsafe emergency brake system which is specifically tailored to the needs of autonomous vehicle testing. It is an actuator directly activating the vehicle's brake pedal. Preliminary to the test the system is charged and enabled. Even with a failure of the electrical supply voltage an emergency brake maneuver can be triggered.

In addition existing monitoring inputs can be used to monitor further computers und electronics within the vehicle. If there is a failure, an emergency braking is also triggered immediately.

The whole system is scalable and can be extended to several test vehicles. A portable radio control unit is used to control and monitor the test.
